Cancer has variety of categories which is viewed at different parts of our body. The type, symptoms and precautionary measure for each type of malignant tissue and metastasis is not same. Some type of cancers can be curable when it is detected at an early stage. But, medical science has still not been able to find out the remedy for some type of cancer. This is a body condition where people have an abnormal cell growth that has the capacity of spreading to different parts of the body. Sometime cancer can also inculcate from tumors. But, not all tumors can get the shape of cancerous organ. There are various signs and symptoms of cancer include abnormal bleeding, new lumps, sudden weight loss, inadequate change in bowel movement etc.
Today, we have come across an edge when cancer is not a deadly disease. You must have seen people around suffering from cancer but is living for a long time. The advance treatment procedure has created many cancer survivors in this universe. We are living in the best time when we are in apposition of winning over the disease named as cancer. There was a time when we become too much afraid after hearing about cancer. But today the success of breast cancer prevention along with awareness has taken us a long way. Still there are some cancers which are not fully curable. We will discuss the types, symptoms and signs.
Cancer is a class of diseases characterized by out-of-control cell growth. There are over 100 different types of cancer, and each is classified by the type of cell that is initially affected. Cancer harms the body when damaged cells divide uncontrollably to form lumps or masses of tissue called tumors (except in the case of leukemia where cancer prohibits normal blood function by abnormal cell division in the blood stream). Tumors can grow and interfere with the digestive, nervous and circulatory systems. They can release hormones that alter body function. Tumors that stay in one spot and demonstrate limited growth are generally considered to be benign. More dangerous, or malignant, tumors form when a cancerous cell manages to move throughout the body using the blood or lymph systems destroying healthy tissue in a process called invasion
Firstly the affected cell manages to divide and grow, making new blood vessels to feed itself in a process called angiogenesis. Secondly When a tumor successfully spreads to other parts of the body and grows, invading and destroying other healthy tissues, it is said to have metastasized. This process itself is called metastasis, and the result is a serious condition that is very difficult to treat. Many cancers will be present with some of the above general symptoms but often have one or more symptoms that are more specific for the cancer type. For example, lung cancer may present with common symptoms of pain, but usually the pain is located in the chest. The patient may have unusual bleeding, but the bleeding usually occurs when the patient coughs. Lung cancer patients often become short of breath, and then become very fatigued. Because there are so many cancer types, with so many nonspecific and sometimes more specific symptoms, the best way to learn about signs and symptoms of specific cancer types is to spend a few moments researching symptoms of a specific body area in question. Conversely, a specific body area can be searched to discover what signs and symptoms a person should look for in that area that is suspected of having cancer.
Carcinoma: Cancer that begins in the skin or in tissues that line or cover internal organs -skin, lung, colon, pancreatic, ovarian cancers,” epithelial, squamous and basal cell carcinomas, melanomas, papillomas and adenomas
Sarcoma: Cancer that begins in bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels or other connective or supportive tissue — “bone, soft tissue cancers,” osteosarcoma, synovial sarcoma, liposarcoma, angiosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma and fibrosarcoma
Leukemia: Cancer that starts in blood-forming tissue such as the bone marrow and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells to be produced and enter the blood — “leukemia,” lymphoblastic leukemias (ALL and CLL), myelogenous leukemias (AML and CML), T-cell leukemia, and hairy-cell leukemia
Lymphoma and myeloma: Cancers that begin in the cells of the immune system — “lymphoma,” T-cell lymphomas, B-cell lymphomas, Hodgkin lymphomas, non-Hodgkin lymphoma and lymphoproliferative lymphomas
Central nervous system cancers: Cancers that begin in the tissues of the brain and spinal cord — “brain and spinal cord tumors,” gliomas, meningiomas, pituitary adenomas, vestibular schwannomas, primary CNS lymphomas, and primitive neuroectodermal tumors

We all have come to know that the skeleton system of adults is made up of 206 bones which is really essential to protect the internal organs of the body. Bones are really important to keep people stand upright. Once cancer cell attacks bones, there can be serious condition when the cell becomes malignant. When it is about bone cancer, the tumor will not spread to other parts of the body rather than bones. But, it will be equally dangerous once it grow and make the adjacent bone weak.
Signs and symptoms
- Pain- At the early stage, the signs and symptoms of bone cancer is pain and swelling in the area where tumor is present.
- Limping- A fracture or a break in your bone may easily cause the pronounced limp when the leg is affected. It is regarded as the bone cancer
Another very common type of cancer is known as breast cancer. As soon as the normal cells of breasts changes and get an uncontrollable growth, there will be cancerous element or benign. As soon as the normal cells in the lining of rectum or colon changes there begins the tendency of getting the colorectal cancer. This will probably form a mass which will once again get the shape of a tumor. If this tumor is malignant, it will ideally spread up to various parts of your body and will make it too much prone to cancer.
Signs and symptoms

Today many people are suffering from lung cancer especially all those who have an excessive smoking and drinking alcohol habit. Even in this case the cells in the lung grow and changes in an uncontrollable way which will once again form a nodule, tumor or lesion. This lung cancer can start beginning at any part of the lung and then start spreading continuously.
Signs and symptoms of cancer
- Cough will be one of the symptoms of Lung cancer which might seem to be mild at an initial stage
- It will have coughing up of blood occasionally
